Are you on a job search? Say this miraculous prayer for success!
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (Philippians 4:6).
We must understand that prayer and hard work go hand in hand. In a very difficult and competitive world as this, it often takes rare luck to get headway with opportunities as jobs. It takes much more than academic qualification, capabilities or good looks. It even takes more than connections and affiliations. Often times, it takes God’s grace. Yes, it takes grace to be selected for a job amidst a vast number of applicants. Even in cases where you happen to know a few persons who can help you get a job, it similarly takes grace because in most cases, there a larger number of persons equally expecting the same position with the help of key persons too. So you see, it takes grace. This is why you have to pray when job-hunting; prayers open doors when it seems there’s no way; “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”(1 John 5:14).
