Holy God, my faith has always been central to my life. I have spent a good portion of my life praying and worshiping in a church, confident in Your omnipotence and presence. However, my faith isn’t always as strong as I’d like it to be. As time goes on, I struggle more and more to put the teachings of the Gospel into practice. To You, I turn for advice and assistance. In spite of my struggles with doubt, I pray that you will strengthen my faith and make me a better Christian. I pray that I would be receptive to Your transforming grace and find strength in Your Word. Direct me to the people and information that will clear my mind and deepen my faith. Just as the natural world goes through cycles of spring, summer, fall, and winter, so must I go through many transformations on the road to immortality. I hope that the spiritual dryness I’ve been experiencing will soon give way to a flourishing of new vigor in my faith.
