A few of us are lucky to reside in places where robberies hardly occur and are almost nonexistent. However, this is not the case for many others. There are a lot of places where robbery cases are at their peak, where the people keep being harrassed without a break. If you are reading this, are in such a situation, take courage and rest, assured that God is in total control. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

Surely, it is not easy having to live at a place where there is little or no peace at all; a place where you sleep with just one eye shut while fearing that you might be the next victim of a gruesome robbery. A place where the little you must have struggled to earn from your daily labour is heartlessly taken away from you by fearless robbers. Do not lose courage! Fear no more for God is more than able to fight our battles. “I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh,
And they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine;
And all flesh will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior
And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” (Isaiah 49:26)
You just need to reach out to God in prayers. Say this powerful prayer calling on God to put an end to the robberies plaguing you:
“God be with you, brethren; stop, ye thieves,
Robbers, murderers, horsemen and soldiers,
In all humility, for we have tasted
The rosy blood of Jesus.
Your rifles and guns will be stopped up with the
Holy blood of Jesus; and all swords and arms are made harmless
By the five holy wounds of Jesus.
There are three roses upon the heart of God;
The first is beneficent,
The other is omnipotent,
The third is his holy will.
You thieves must therefore stand under it,
Standing still as long as I will.
In the name of God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost,
You are commanded and made to stop!”
Also say this power-filled prayer to Saint Michael the archangel, our defender in times of battles:
“Blessed Michael, archangel,
defend us in the hour of conflict.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil
(may God restrain him, we humbly pray):
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God thrust Satan down to hell
and with him those other wicked spirits
who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen”.
