Prayer for Removal of Bad Leaders in Our Nations

One issue a lot of nations have in common is that of bad leadership. A lot of them are in positions where the lives of the people lie in their hands. They steal from the people, tell lies, falsely accuse the innocent and worse, kill the innocent. Many of us have lost hope that our countries will ever be cured of this deadly pandemic of bad leadership. Many have lost faith and that these evil rulers can ever be uprooted from the positions which they arrogantly occupy. But we should know this: “He controls the course of world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars (Daniel 2:21). The falling and rising solely rests on the hands of God.

Say this prayer with me that God removes corrupt leaders and puts in place for us, just and true leaders:

“Father God, good leaders, come from you. Lord, this nation needs leaders with discerning hearts and wise minds. We come to you today asking you to give us wise leaders that will lead this nation in the right direction.

Remove wrong people that are corrupt and living against your word from influential positions. Let our leaders be people who honor your holy name for it is only from you that they will get true wisdom.

It is in the mighty name of Jesus that we believe and pray, Amen”.
