Prayer to God Through Mary for Sustenance of Faith

Listen to this article

Are you losing faith? Were you once an agile Christian but due to challenges of life, are giving up your faith? Do not! God has not abandoned you, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me” (Isaiah 49:15-16).

The problems we face in life are only supposed to shape us, not to break us “,(Isaiah 49:15-16)
“Consider it pure.
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me” (Isaiah 49:15-16).

Encountering challenges does not mean that God has abandoned or hates us. As seen in the life of Job, trials and tribulations are there to test our faith in God. Losing Faith means you have lost the battle already. So when the ups and downs of Life threaten to take away our faith from God, pray to our Lord and seek revival from Him through this prayer to Mary:

“Mother, help our faith!
Open our ears to hear God’s word and to recognize his voice and call.
Awaken in us a desire to follow in his footsteps, to go forth from our own land and to receive his promise.
Help us to be touched by his love, that we may touch him in faith.
Help us to entrust ourselves fully to him and to believe in his love, especially at times of trial, beneath the shadow of the cross, when our faith is called to mature.
Sow in our faith the joy of the Risen One.
Remind us that those who believe are never alone.
Teach us to see all things with the eyes of Jesus, that he may be light for our path. And may this light of faith always increase in us, until the dawn of that undying day which is Christ himself, your Son, our Lord! Amen.
